ACHE is one of only two institutions in Arkansas to receive this year’s recognition, underscoring ACHE’s dedication to fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students, faculty, and staff. 

Hosted by the ACHE Center for Clinical Skills Development, the large-scale event brought together students from all programs for a full day of teamwork, competition, and hands-on learning. 

The project was part of ACHE’s Productive Aging Assistive Technology Fieldwork, which provides students the opportunity to develop solutions for community members while still in a learning environment.

The partnership creates a formal pathway for UAFS students seeking admission to ACHE’s Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine, School of Physical Therapy, School of Occupational Therapy, and Master of Science in Biomedicine program.

The award honors exceptional institutional programs that encourage and support the recruitment and retention of women and underrepresented students in all STEM fields.

Students customized ride-on cars tailored to each child’s unique needs, promoting independence, mobility, and confidence. 

The Inclusive Egg Hunt was thoughtfully designed to ensure that every child could participate and enjoy the festivities in a way that felt comfortable and accessible.

This accreditation is vital as it ensures the ACHE OT program meets the highest standards of occupational therapy education, fostering confidence in the quality of the curriculum and instruction.
